 THE CHINESE LANGUAGE CENTRE’S “Chinese Language Course for Children” will commence on Saturday January 28th 2012 for 10 weeks. LEVEL 1: January 28th to April 7th 2012 (no class on St. Patrick’s Day March 17th) Class time 10am to 11am. (Saturday) This course is suitable for children between 6 and 8 years old. The course provides children with basic skills in Chinese (Mandarin) including pronunciation, speaking, listening, character recognition and writing. Learn how to make Chinese paper cuts. By the end of the course, children will have good pronunciation, and be able to have simple conversations in Mandarin. Course costs €115. Textbook and Workbook €25. (will also be used for Level 2) LEVEL 2: April 14th to June 16th. Level 2 classes will be a continuation from Level 1, only students that have completed level 1 can participate in Level 2.
