 Chinese (Mandarin) Language Course in Cork city. 10 Week Course (20 hours), Thursday nights, 7pm to 9pm. Commencing Jan 26th 2012. Course provides students with basic skills in Chinese language including speaking, listening, reading and writing. The focus of this course will be on good pronunciation and oral communication. By the end of the course, students will have a vocabulary of around 100 Chinese characters which will enable them to (read and write and) have simple conversations in Mandarin. Course costs €250. (unemployed and senior citizen discounts apply) Course materials approx. €20 The objective of The Chinese Language Centre is to promote the development of the Chinese language in Ireland; to assist students in using Chinese in their daily lives; to facilitate increased communications and to increase cultural awareness between our two wonderful cultures.
